The TEMPEST Project will once again join the Battery Innovation Days (BID), marking its second year of participation in this event next November 26 and 27, 2024 in Barcelona, Spain. In collaboration with the EU-INGENIOUS cluster, which unites five innovative projects, including NEXTBAT, VERSAPRINT EU, BATSS EU, and EXTENDED, TEMPEST is set to contribute to the dialogue on the latest advancements in the European Research & Innovation (R&I) Battery sector. The BID, now in its third edition, is a two-day hybrid event that gathers key stakeholders, experts, and innovators to discuss and showcase cutting-edge developments in battery technology. This year, the event will take place in Barcelona and online, fostering discussions that are crucial for the future of battery systems in Europe.

EU-INGENIOuS, chaired by project coordinator Jeremy Warren, has been instrumental in enhancing communication and dissemination efforts across its constituent projects. By participating in the BID, the cluster aims to amplify its impact on the European battery landscape, leveraging the platform to highlight the progress and potential of next-generation battery systems. With the combined expertise and research of 57 organizations from 17 countries, representing over 23.5 million euros of European Commission investment, the cluster’s presence at BID will serve as a critical opportunity to reinforce its commitment to driving innovation in safe, high-performance battery technologies.
