TEMPEST will be part of Battery Innovation Days (BID) 2025 in Graz, Austria, for the third consecutive year, highlighting its work on safe, lightweight, recyclable, and high-performance batteries for transportation. The two-day event on 2–3 December brings together researchers, industry players, policymakers, and end-users to explore the latest innovations in battery technology.
As part of the EU-INGENIOuS Cluster, TEMPEST will share an exhibition space with fellow projects BATSS, EXTENDED, NEXTBAT, and VERSAPRINT, showcasing collaborative efforts to advance safer, more efficient, and environmentally sustainable battery solutions that support Europe’s green transition.
On 1 December, TEMPEST will also join a COLLABAT cluster parallel session at Lendhafen Graz, focusing on the sustainability and long-term impact of battery clusters beyond project timelines. The session features contributions from CINEA, BEPA, Battery 2030+, LiPlanet, twinBATT, and other leading European initiatives.
Battery Innovation Days 2025 offers an open platform for the European R&I battery community to connect, exchange insights, and explore cutting-edge technologies driving the continent’s energy transition.
